PROTEUS - A STUDY IN EVOLUTION AND EXCELLENCE
The pursuit of form, from myth to modern design
WHERE IT BEGAN
Proteus was born as my senior thesis in the Graphic Design BFA program, a semester-long exploration of how ancient Greek ideals of form, balance, and discipline could inform contemporary design.
The project began in research: studying the geometry of Doric columns, the symbolism of athletic sculpture, and the language of restraint that defined classical proportion. From that foundation, I built visual systems, experimenting with modular grids, typographic structure, and material references that echoed marble, stone, and fabric.
What started as an academic study quickly became something larger... a living brand rooted in the pursuit of excellence. The thesis exhibition marked the first physical expression of Proteus, connecting my design process to tangible garments and storytelling. Today, the brand continues to evolve beyond the classroom, guided by the same principles of clarity, proportion, and timeless form.
MYTH MEETS MODERN
Strength. Adaptation. Balance.
FROM IDEA TO IDENTITY
ALIVE IN FORM
Statues in motion. The eternal athlete reborn.
OBJECTS OF DEDICATION
FROM THESIS TO BRAND
Proteus is no longer just a concept - it's a living brand. Currently in pre-launch development, its first drop will embody the ideals of ancient athletic excellence for a modern audience.
DESIGNING FOR LEGACY
This project taught me to merge concept with craft, story with strategy, personal lifestyle to the world - a practice I now carry into every design I create.
